A professor in the Building Construction Services program, Richard Borger details how his students use cutting edge technology to build digital twins of campus spaces. Working in small groups, students use remote controlled cameras to capture and map out the built environment of Fennell campus. The students then utilize software such as Cupix Works SiteView to build digital representations of these spaces. This technology was used to construct a digital twin of the renewable energy lab so that professors from that program area could later use to remotely introduce learners to the lab space.
